Florence Muscott
Florence Emma Muscott, 104,of Summerville, S.C. widow of Dean Felton Muscott, died on Monday,April 8, 2013 at Royal Oaks Nursing Home.
She was born on June 28, 1908 in Breckenridge, daughter of the late Robert Greening and Florence Marie (My'ander) Greening. She lovingly cared for many neighbors and relative's children while living in Michigan. She loved flowers, gardening and cooking. Over the years she made hundreds of Raggedy Ann and Andy Dolls for which she was locally well known. Her family was very important to her. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Wheeler, and an associate member of Bethany United Methodist Church in Summerville. We will all miss her and rest assured she will not be forgotten.
Surviving are; one son, Dr. James R. Muscott (Elise) of Summerville; three granddaughters, Isabella Gail Muscott of Ann Arbor, Patrice Muscott of Ann Arbor, and Crystal Venuto (Frank) of Windsor, Ontario; seven great-grandchildren, Chandler, David, Daniel, Clara, Austin, Kylee, and Dean; daughter-in-law, Delores Muscott of Ann Arbor.
She was predeceased by one son, Charles Muscott; one daughter, Bonnie Muscott; one grandson, James Robert Muscott and one granddaugther, Dorothy Christine Muscott Greenshields; and 10 Siblings.
Local funeral arrangements are being handled by the Barden Funeral Home in Ithaca. Funeral services will be 3pm, April 13, 2013 at the Barden Funeral Home in Ithaca with Rev. Larry Warsinkski officiating. Interment will follow in Ithaca Cemetery. The family will meet friends and relatives from 2-3pm at the funeral home.
